Having hosted guests at Art Break Waihi for nearly three seasons Heather and I have been really happy with the response from our guests. It’s been a great experience all round and we’re now getting more proactive with our marketing skills (ahem).
We’re on facebook, which is great for those who are on facebook. Being travellers ourselves, or wishful ones at times anyway, we are now listed on Trip Advisor, Anna Schroeder, from Waihi Beach Information has made a listing for us on their soon-to- be-updated, website, and invited Heather and I to meet local business people over good food at The Flat White Cafe. We are so impressed by the innovative unique businesses there are in this tucked away beach-side village and feel excited to be a part of it.
An invitation has been extended to our guests to exhibit at Art Waikino over Labour weekend and we are happily sponsoring them (who will display our poster and cards). We met Judy of info at KatiKati also who invited us to their arts week but unfortunately we are unable to attend this year.
Rex of Coromandel rang and interviewed us on Coromandel FM, a first for me, as far as I can remember, to have been on air. Here are a few photos from some past art breaks and we look forward to the spring and summer editions!
