I've recently heard about social painting in Auckland that has apparently become really popular. I couldn't help but think it is what we have been doing at Artbreak and why it is such a winning formula.
Heather and I have also been delighted that Artbreak was featured in the New Zealand Herald Weekend section on 27th January.
- 250g ground almonds

A bunch of friends and ourselves rode the Hauraki Rail Trail again in Januar, but this time from Te Aroha. Our trip began with a night at Te Aroha motorcamp , breakfast and antique shopping in Te Aroha, lunch at the Refinery in Paeroa, swimming in the gorge and staying the night at the 'Starry nights' in Waikino including dinner at our favourite Bistro
This November a group of us biked a part of the rail trail. I have biked just a small part of it but always was keen to do more. So here were, a group of friends with varying levels of fitness and biking experience, ready to enjoy the Hauraki Rail Trail from Waihi Station to Paeroa and then on to Thames the next day.
